A decoded date places the piece in a month, if the rule holds and the serial is genuine. It does not prove the piece is genuine. Finding the serial number on your Goyard

Is this the same as a Louis Vuitton date code?
No. Louis Vuitton interleaves the digits and names the factory country in letters. Goyard wraps the month around a full four-digit year. The two look similar and read completely differently.
